Vermilion Parish, ages Birth - 5 years old, with a solid foundation of care and education,
through numerous resources that will prepare them for life.

Ready Start Network Manager
Delia joined the network in June 2021. Her previous experience includes 19 years as an early childhood educator with 8 years as an instructional coach. Delia was promoted to Early Childhood Supervisor in December, 2024. In this role, she collaborates with childcare partners to provide opportunities for quality care and education for children ages birth to four years old. She also supports the public school PreK teachers and administrators to provide quality education so that children can enter kindergarten ready.
She is married to Craig Girouard with two children, Caroline & David.
The Vermilion Early Childhood Network has entered into a strategic partnership with Turner Consulting and Coaching, LLC, led by founder Lenita Turner, to further advance the Ready Start Network. This collaboration strengthens our commitment to building a sustainable, high-quality early childhood system in Vermilion Parish.
Lenita Turner, a respected educator and advocate with extensive experience in leadership and childcare operations, will lead efforts to develop long-term strategic plans, foster vital community partnerships, improve local childcare program effectiveness, and enhance resource access for our families. We look forward to this collaboration as we continue to support our children, families, and providers.
